This term the cool woodland has been a sanctuary to escape from the hot July sun. The children enjoyed trying out different tools and techniques for working greenwood, and comparing the properties of the wood, the bark and the sap of Sycamore, Oak and Elder. Fantastic to see their confidence, knowledge and independence leap forward recently, what a joy 🙂
